Q-Tip and Clucky Sue

Audrey and I got two Silkies about two days ago from Kira Ezis. Kira is an awesome person. Kira gave us these chickens, called Silkies, as our Christmas Present. We love them so much. Audrey's is the white one. She named her Q-Tip. The buff/redish one Clucky Sue. She is mine. Audrey and I let them out to eat weeds and we hold them all the time. They are so sweet and have funny personalities. Thank you so much Kira! Audrey and Q-Tip

Growin' Garden

Long time no updates! Sorry. Well here are some fun ones. Our small garden is fantastic! We weeded, harvested, and all that today. Here are some pictures so you get the idea. We have sweet peas, Audrey and her broccoli, our garden areas, Joey was picking turnips in his garden (not pictured), my growing flowers, ect... I picked beets, swiss chard, and sweet peas from my garden today. For dinner my mom made delicious soup with veggies from our garden. Enjoy the picture! Yummmmmm!

Surprise, Surprise!!!

Whaddaya know! Junie had her babies this morning! Last night, Junie's udder looked a bigger so we thought she was getting closer. My mom, Audrey and I went down to feed this morning. My mom was ahead of me and saw the babies first. "MALARYJUNIEHADHEREBABIES!" she yelled really fast. "NOWAY!" I called back even faster! I ran the rest of the way down the hill. Sure enough, there were two babies next to Junie. She must have had them early this morning. The babies were all dried off, walking around, and went potty a couple of times. They nursed fine too. Junie is such a wonderful mother! She had two does (girls). The does are so sweet and cuddly! Just like Junie!!

I will post a Kodak gallery link so you can view all the pictures I took. Right now the upload status is at 10/74 pictures!! Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Birthday!

Here are Mommy's Birthday pictures from last night. Enjoy!

Painted Pictures

Here are some pictures my sister and I painted that I scanned into the computer. Thank you Cousin Alexis for the awesome water colors and supplies! It is great! The paintings look better in person (sorry they are upside down) but Audrey wanted to show Grandpa Needham! Here you go Grandpa! Love you!

Hello There!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY! Feliz Cumpleanos Momma-cita! Ha-ha!

Second order of business;
Junie B., my dairy goat, is due this weekend to Monday. I am so excited!! I am going to be a grandma! Ha-ha! I am going to take a picture and post it here so you can see her big belly and cute, hairy udder. Just in case you forgot, here is a list of our dairy goats; Bad Penny, Bad Money, Diana, Junie, Janel, and Pixie. Penny, Junie, Pixie, and Janel are bred. I updated the dairy goat website -> http://bighoofheartedgoats.googlepages.com/

My meat goats are Lightning and Thunder. Please go to the website and look at the pictures.

Thirdly,

The weather... Hip hip hooray some California rain! It hailed for two seconds but it was awesome.

Another update, I wanted to talk about my Personal Progress, in Excellence project. I write poems. I love writing! I am writing a couple of fun books right now. For my YW project I am making a book of all my poems! Grandma Patsy (YW Presidente) is going to help me. Thanks Grandma!

Lastly, I wanted to announce some girls camp fundraiser I am doing.

1. Homemade Cards- I am taking lots of pictures and making them in to note card packets. They include flowers, Chainsaw (our Jack Russell dressed in Build-a-bear clothes), Birds, and Paper Fashions. Professional homemade cards that are a great gift.

2. Ahrend Studios Photography Special Offer!! Please email me for details.

Thank you!

Funny Frank!

Frank is just a crack-up! Here is a funny story that happened not to long ago...
Frank came up to me and asked if he could sing his ABC's to me. I agreed and he started to sing.

"A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I , J, K, LMNOP.... Mal, what comes after LMNOP?" Ha-ha-ha-ha! I couldn't resist laughing. Frank is only six but he is hilarious.
